Date: 10/22/2024
PAX: @Adobe @Subfloor @Superfly @Starfish @Zima @Drama Queen (DQ) @van.gogh (WB, QIC)
Due to travel in November and the December Holidays, the 22 challenge will end with a doubledown opportunity between Parliament and High Life! It being Tyson month, YHC can’t think of a more appropriate challenge to end with. Brutal and tough!

- YHC mentioned Hear the Call, an original musical being presented at River Oaks Community Church this Saturday at 6 and Sunday at 4. It’s awesome!
- November 17th, Backyard Ultra, sponsored by the Speakeasy!
- YHC took us out giving thanks
NMM
- A solid group of 7 this morning, seems like the PAX finally realized coming to the 22 beatdowns was NOT fun, especially after having 17 at the previous iteration.
- No running, just a little prancing to the blocks.
- The Block Crawl rep counting was rough. Even more rough was the lunge walking to/from the blocks. Two later rounds were modified to Karaoka in order to give us enough time to finish. Ended up being perfect!
- Zima had confusion about whether or not a stool at Star Fish’s house was a Cinder Block and gray; followed up Subfloor having some confusion about Zima’s stool (poop) being gray.
- DQ was more impressed by the upcoming Hear The Call original musical at ROCC than he was the beatdown. He made it look easy!
- Starfish fully expects YHC to get the grand prize for the 22 challenge, but honest, even though YHC was at them all – the prize winner won’t be YHC! It’s not THAT nice…
- Adobe regretted inviting YHC to Q, but he was too nice to pass out a Q ban.
- Superfly (not Skyline) was the silent stoic type this morning; didn’t complain, and didn’t waiver in his beastliness!
- Subfloor declared that 22/7 is almost pie. Which none of the PAX had seemed to think about before, and all realized that it was technically true
YHC appreciates all 7 who posted, and for those who posted at other 22 beatdowns earlier in the year. Sometimes doing stupid things DOES make one better. After the beatdown, YHC raced home for protein and carbs to prep for High Life later in the day….. And accidentally took keys with him, leaving them at High Life – good luck, Adobe!
