1 to 12 and multiples of 10

While still recovering from The Mountain that Root Canal made the PAX climb at The Iron Throne later on Monday, YHC decided that he also wanted to see high rep counts in support of the monthly challenge. An idea was concocted to use a 1:12 ratio, with two exercises in the one slot, and one in the 12, to channel the days date (1:1:12) , while counting up to a higher number. Would give high reps like YHC wanted, but dang, multiples of 12, changing each level, plus low O2 levels in the brain, seemed like a bad idea. The conversation in YHC’s head then went like: “So okay, multiples of 10 are easier… lets just do that!” and it was decided. Didn’t sound good on paper. A disclaimer was made to the PAX of this being a bad idea, but it’s flatline, so just keep moving and grind through it! In reality, YHC was doing this for them, so we wouldn’t have to do above simple multiplication (and YHC wouldn’t have to make cardboard).

- Chickflick is still looking for a new site Q before he moves at the end of the year to Mexico for 2025. Step up, men!
- YHC has the Q on Thursday at The Distillery.
- YHC took us out asking that we not plateau in our 2nd and 3rd F, so that we might be there for new guys to the group, and gave thanks for the many freedoms we enjoy.
NMM
- Rep total came out to 360 Squats, 240 WWIIs, 50 pull-ups, and 50 Leg lifts. So that’s 600 toward your monthly rep count challenge, and 100 just for fun! Also got in ~1.25-1.5 miles in the parking deck.
- The PAX were good sports with this one. A log of, disdain at first, but then we all just suffered together… and/or thistle counted… or had terrible form… or got to a reasonable total and moved on.
- Return of the raspberry? Lots of PAX likely had a raw spot in the tramp stamp area after this one. Likely spent part of their morning thinking of YHC. Then thought of YHC again when attempting to use legs at work. Turnover promised to stay standing all day so he wouldn’t have to sit and think of YHC when standing again… no way he sticks to that plan!
- Root Canal was the King of WWIIs this morning, not sure how he moves that fast.
- Lampchop led the squat rounds, but he may or may not have taken liberties with the “Boot Strap” portion of the squat.
- Rubber Ducky was back and dreaming of that Elmer T Lee he and some buddies shared at a wedding in Wilmington. (YHC is jealous!) He said this morning might be right up there with some of YHCs all time bad ideas, which is a huge compliment IMHO.
- Gold Watch also fell victim to Root Canal’s mountain on Monday, and YHC was glad to suffer with him this morning. Was a Beast, didn’t complain once the whole time! He did comment about having took a picture of the mountain and wanting to bring it back to Florida with him…
- Great to see Mutton again, we haven’t crossed paths too much recently, but YHC noticed he Omaha’d with some Merkins and was running quite spry! Looks like the sore toe is all healed up, glad to see it!
- Comments were made about Turnover being an over achiever, from form in reps to number of children. It’s true, dude goes all out in everything he does – EXCEPT when it comes to announcing the winner of Pull-Up month earlier this year. Lambchop is 100% that it could definitely be someone that is possibly not YHC.
- Spicoli communicated with YHC ahead of time asking for our destination, and he showed up just before the 120 sit ups. YHC is proud of him for sticking around and not immediately going back home.
- Chickflick made the workout look easy in an attempt to impress potential suitors for the new AO. Note he is moving to Mexico, NOT Turkey! Some PAX made a correlation to Turkey being like the Mexico of Europe, but that is not an official stance of F3, F3WinstonSalem, or Chickflick.
Next time, YHC will arrive early to put chalk down for our rep count and we’ll go for crazy ratios again. Thanks for your company this morning, men, much appreciated! YHC accidentally sent the keys to Turkey, whoops!
