PAX: Bam, Thistle's business card

In hindsight, yhc now realizes that it was probably not a good idea to hijack Burlap’s OG twitter thread with the hopes of luring a few OG faithful to this morning’s WIB beat down…which, by design, was a little heavier on the running dimension.  Burlap, while sharp tongued when he wants to be, tip toed around yhc’s hostile tactics.  Thus, at 0528.5 and launch growing ever closer, the Q stood alone in the Whitaker School parking lot.  WHEN behold, a mini van approacheth…who else but BAM, obligated to post because of his own hostile twitter chatter from the prior evening…”friendsdon’tbringfriends….”  With great pause, BAM exited the safety of his family roadster and joined the Q just in time for launch…sad clown avoided, the beat down went something like this:

The Thang:

• 0.6 mile lap
• at halfway point:  5 burpees, 5 Freddy Mercuries  (increase reps by 1 every lap)
• at start/finish:  10 merkin jacks, 10 full extension crunches (increase reps by 1 every lap)
• complete as many laps as possible

Moleskin:

BAM set the pace in the early going, leading the Q through three full laps, reps included.  Following lap three, gastro vibrations of increasing intensity anchored BAM to base camp.  The Q set off for a few sad clown laps while BAM worked on core & upper body between contractions.  According to one source, BAM went so far as to scout out a nearby portajon, only to conclude that it must certainly be void of striking paper and therefore not a viable option.

With the workout complete, the two returned to the parking lot only to find Thistle’s business card on the Q’s windshield.  Is this some kind of mockery?!  Takes a lot of nerve to live 100 yards from the AO, f__tsack and think its a good idea to leave a calling card…riddled with fancy titles and big words like “International”, no less.

As always, it was an honor to take a few laps with BAM, who hung tough despite a growing discomfort.  Maybe Thistle will show in person next time yhc Q’s….he’s 0 for the last 2.  Hey Thistle, bring your buddy Root Canal while you’re at it.

YHC gave thanks for the F3 brotherhood and asked that the Lord would give us courage to go where He needs us to be at work…in Jesus name.
