Title: Tambland B.R.I.C.K. Work
AO: Flatline
Date – 02/20/2018
PAX – Root Canal (WD), Mutton, Toe Tag, TPS, Roosevelt, Pita, Zima, Van Gogh, Hedwig, Sleeper, Litterbox (WB)
YHC recently rewatched the Great American Classic movie “Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgandy” and was inspired by Steve Carrell’s character Brick Tambland to do some stupid work at Flatline. And what started with the intention of including multiple quotes (Classics like: “I love lamp.” “Loud Noises!” “I’m riding a furry tractor.”) and references to tridents and pants parties, simply ended up with a repeating acronym outlining CSAUP work and 20 reps because it’s the 20th. Ironically, the GIF posted yesterday referenced Yelling, which YHC could not do this morning do to the Frog in my throat… this would come back to bite us later in the workout.

CoT
- Prayer requests that YHCs family continues to get better
- YHC took us out giving thanks for the time, asking for continued strength in our minds, bodies, and faith. Asking for guidance on being better leaders in the home, at work, and in our communities. Lifted up unspoken prayer requests, men and women in the military, and our Nations leaders.

- Kudos to @ToeTag, @Hedwig, @Pita, and @RoadApple for putting in a 6 mile #TeachersPet run prior!
- Nice to see @Litterbox out this morning, he hung near the front all morning and never slowed down. He should probably Q here soon.
- @Zima was in full beast mode, out front for everything called except for Crab Walks, which could very well be his Kryptonite. If any PAX want to slow him down, secret is out!
- @Sleeper was pushing hard this morning, going strong after a full month back on F3 saddle.
- @TPS excelled at the I-beam traverse, I think he needs to make it out to a Murph sometime!
- @Root Canal thinks we both need haircuts, I blamed the sick family for my rugged look.
- @Roosevelt was first to bolt out of landing zones during our BRICKs, once he knows enough, he is gone; true to the #Flatline mantra and keeping that tempo up! #TClaps
- #Kobains to the 6 PAX who ran down the stairs during our Merkin BRICK and got lost for 2ish minutes… he Frog in YHCs throat prevented the PAX from hearing instructions during our first round. YHC used up the last of his voice yelling around for them like a mad man in the parking deck, no police were called out! Thankfully… YHC was glad they came back and were able to finish in full force.
- @ToeTag, our Humble Birthday Boy, said he couldn’t hear me over his gasping for breath, but YHC knows it was my fault because he and @Pita had to of been fine with all the chatting they were doing!
- @Mutton turns another year older tomorrow but you’d never know it. Despite him also having a Frog in his throat this morning, it certainly didn’t slow him down!
- @Hedwig forgot to crack a smile a few times this morning. Probably because YHC explicitly left out Bear Crawls to keep him from leaving us all in his wake (seriously, he might be half bear if you haven’t seen it).
- 2.7 miles total this morning, and we kept it moving most of the time. Each PAX put in strong work, modified as necessary, and was kind enough to put up with YHC’s CSAUP shenanigans this morning. YHC had fun, and hopes the PAX did too!
- Thanks for the keys @Hedwig, but I lost them in the parking deck somewhere while searching for you.

Strong work this morning VG! The beam work was especially terrible and new for YHC. Thanks for the awesome Q!
