Disregard for Authority at Redline

13 PAX gathered for some running in circles this am. Peacemaker made a grand entrance and might have gotten air while hitting a curb. The city might need to bring in a repair crew. When I Q Redline I like to keep everyone together as much as possible. That was my goal today. Let’s see if that worked.
We began with a mosey around the Y then took it cross country through the playground and over some pre-trampled orange fencing to the track for 400 meters of HK, BK, AC, and K.
The Thang
Simple Ladder, except once you finished the pax was instructed to turn around and pick up the 6 with the same intensity (i.e. NOT walking/moseying/slowing down) – this concept was lost on many of the pax as they continually walked their way back to the 6 after each rung of the ladder despite my constant instruction. Were they being lazy? Insubordinate?
Rungs = 400 – 800 – 1200 – 800 – 400
400 recovery between each.
