27 Men took on either the OG or Tractor’s Route this morning.  An overnight storm made the gloom more gloomy and even more sauna like if that is possible.

OG and Tractor routes were counter rotating in the hopes that there would be an opportunity to wave to other co-idiots along the way.  Some of that may have happened.

YHC launched at 5:15 but was glad to quickly circle back to pick up a late arriving Cheerio.  We talked our way down to a 9:30 pace, got passed by everyone, several PAX checked to be sure we were “all right,” yep we were, just stirring in a bit more of the second F than usual.  Thanks Cheerio for the company!

We welcomed FNG “Bubbles.”  In a classic F3 naming, he provided little information to work off of (I think he was on to us…) Favorite sports team “none,” favorite movie, “don’t have one,” favorite hobby, “running,” but we finally got him to tell us his favorite book.  “Shantaram” which YHC knew was

“a 2003 novel by Gregory David Roberts, in which a convicted Australian bank robber and heroin addict who escaped from Pentridge Prison flees to India. The novel is commended by many for its vivid portrayal of tumultuous life in Bombay. Wikipedia”

but some other PAX less read than YHC heard the title of the book as “Champagne…”  another quick witted PAX called out “Bubbles” and that my friends is how an FNG gets named….

YHC took us out with prayer
