Mike Tyson is intense, right?

11 Pax posted to a high intensity workout that was not Flatline (because it’s not Tuesday).

After posting a callout to the Pax and Qs to up the intensity of our workouts, I kinda had to deliver, right? I’ll leave it up to the Pax who put on their big boy pants and posted to give the final verdict, but let’s just say I didn’t hear much MC after about the third minute.

Thang

Started right at 0530. Had intended to mosey immediately, but at least one pax was arriving on #SpicoliTime so I waited. I’m not really OK with changing the plan, but whatever. Some quick SSH and IW at the start, then we moved on.

Lots of BS/MC as we moseyed through the AO, stopping briefly at various points to continue warmarama. Ended up over in Jamison Park at the picnic tables where we did exercises that were nothing like what we did at the Outhouse on Monday. Box jumps, derkins, high step fast feet, decline plank w/leg raises, bench calf raises (q fail here, fell off bench; pax did not follow), and decline plank w/shoulder taps. After each exercise, bear crawl around the pavilion area, and do SSH while waiting for the six. Must have been difficult, because Zima was wheezing like a 70 year smoker.

After we’d had enough of that, moseyed to the famed Castaneda Court. Given the intensity theme, Mike Tysons seemed in order. Back in the day, that guy was intense, amiright? Always had that crazy look in his eyes. So, we did 5, then 10, then 15, then 10, then 5, each set followed by a short shakeout run across the court and adjacent driveway. Time’s running short, so time to mosey again.

Landed at the circle in front of the elementary school. Time for more exercises, followed by a lap around the circle in the given mode of transportation. Squats/backward run, Man Maker Merkins/Apollo Creed, CDD/High Knees, Seal claps/broad jump, Wide Merkins/mosey to starting parking lot.

Back over in the lot, time to finish the beat down. Sprint down, jog back. Do merkins until I’m tired of doing them. Repeato x 3 (or 4, can’t remember due to workout intensity).

0611, time for Mary. LBC, H2H, low dolly, crabcakes, protractor, done. Pax can breathe again.

Pax didn’t get stop today. Not really any chances to catch your breath, but solid effort by all.

Red Eye and I had a debate about the likelihood I would be posting by myself if he didn’t post this morning. Not because it would be too intense, but because I’m annoying and my intensity tweet was either ignored or mocked. It took him disturbingly long to reply that he would attend.

Zima wore sleeves again today.

Good to have THE Pony Express back out.

Good to have Quiver back out.

    YHC is slightly unsure if the twitter/BB commentary equates to talking trash about my Outhouse Q on Monday. Probably safe to say it’s a “yes” given the narrator. Mongoose may be in for an “intense” post-OG walk home.

    This would be sufficient for Flatline. However, the reason this wasn’t Flatline, besides the fact that it’s not Tuesday, is that Mongoose has never posted to Flatline.
