The morning following the fall of the Night King (spoiler alert!), a solid group of men posted to see what YHC had in store for them.  The normal 5 point disclaimer was waived, and we were off as follows:

Warm-o-Rama

SSH, Copperhead Squats, IST, Arm Swirly things foward/reverse, Whirly has the Clap – All IC, all x 15

Mosey to parking lot on the side of the new addition to the YMCA.  Line up at the first island.  Pax would transport themselves to the second island.  Then return using the same method of transportation.  Then perform called exercises.

Round 1:  Mosey to 2nd island.  Mosey to 1st island.  Merkins x 5, Hand release Merkins x 5, wide Merkins x 5 (all IC, double count)

Round 2:  Face Peacehaven Road.  Apollo Creed to 2nd island.  Apollo Creed to 1st island.  Squats x 10, Copper head Squats x 10, Calf Raises x 10.  (all IC, double count)

Round 3.  With your back to Peacehaven Road.  Apollo Creed to 2nd island.  Apollo Creed to 1st island.  OHC, Seal Clap, Jack Reachers (all x 10, double count)

Round 4.  Face Peacehaven road.  Karaoke to 2nd island.  Karaoke to 1st island.  LBCs, Low Flutter, Rosalita (all x 10, double count).

Round 5.  With your back to Peacehaven Road.  Karaoke to 2nd island.  Karaoke to 1st island.

Partner up for DORA 1…2…3

Partner 1 – DB drill to 2nd island.  Backward mosey to Partner 2.  Flapjack.

Partner 2 – AMRAP – Hand Release Merkins x 100, LBCs x 200, Sumo Squats x 300

At this point, it was approximately 6 am, and thus SourMash headed towards his truck to leave.  Pax followed him, and we all moseyed to the 1st covered area.  See ya SM!

A cooler than expected morning today.  Maybe Winter has indeed arrived.

Speaking of GoT, it sounded like Blue Light Special had a similar experience as YHC did while watching last night.  The scenes were too dark to see what in the world was going on.  AND it did not help that the 2.0s were constantly yelling questions at us.  “I SAID TO BE QUIET!!!!”

Solid partner work by Starfish as always.  Hope the trip to the car dealership was not too painful.

Gucci has already become a regular – well done.

Announcements/Prayer Requests

5k race in a pool?  Maybe YHC did not hear that correctly.  It does, at times, feel like YHC runs in water.

Prayers for family at DQ’s church.  The Meadows family just lost their 30 year old daughter.

YHC took us out – asking for the wisdom to remember that we are all imperfect and complicated creatures.  And that includes each and everyone we encounter.  So be nice.

Great being back at VI – YHC likes what Sassy has done with it!
