I woke up this AM and checked my phone (big mistake) to see 68 degrees and 99% humidity. Oh lordy. Maybe no one would show up, I thought to myself as I was driving up Reynolda Road. Maybe no one else is crazy and I could just go back to bed. And when the parking lot was empty at 0522, I thought I may get my wish…but 7 PAX rolled up over the next 8 minutes and regretted their decision with me.
WOR with SSHs, ISTs, Arm Swirlys, Toy Soldiers, and a short updog/downdog sequence
Mosey to the bridge, 20 irkins and 20 step-ups each leg OYO
Mosey down the path, find a bench or two to do 50 dips OYO along the way.
Mosey from the end of the path to WFU lower quad behind the library, 50 quick feet OYO along the way
Partner up at the lower quad, partner A goes one way around the quad and partner B goes the other. When partners meet on the far side of the quad, 20 merkins together. When partners meet back on the near side, 20 squats together. At each corner of the quad, perform a burpee for the number lap you are on, so first lap 1 burpee at each corner up to 5 at each corner on the 5th lap. All together this equalled 60 burpees and 100 merkins & squats.
Mosey back at your own pace to the launch, begin popcorn mary while the six join up. Heels to heaven, boxcutters, x-factor, lbcs, freddy mercurys in some order and at some amount.
All PAX were fully drenched in sweat by 0615

Welcome to F3WS, Corruption. I partnered with him for the laps and the dude is a BEAST. He’s up for the week for AP training at WFU, getting certified to teach AP Government at his high school back home. He plans on posting to other AOs this week (some aggressive EHing for Flatline and Conspiracy occurred) so give him a warm welcome when he shows.
YHC realized after the second lap that this beatdown was a bad idea, but all present PAX showed fortitude to grit it out. I will need some EHing myself to make it to anything else this week, including my own Q at TRQ Thursday.
No announcements, prayers for Lambchop’s grandmother who is doing well while recovering from a stroke.
