The calendar turned to August and YHC was on for an appearance at TRQ.  It had been quite a while since my last post there since there are so many options now on Thursday in the Dash.  But since it is the mother of Parliament and site Q Wobegon is an honorary WeFoCo/BBBC member, a late summer Q at TRQ seemed to be the right thing to do.  However, Nantans past and present marketed strongly for Pax to post at a WIB that promised new territory and perhaps breakfast at Bluto’s.  Apparently, Wobegon spread rumors of pop tarts at TRQ and that along with YHC’s guest Q was surely what brought out a quite respectable – you will later see what I did there – group out to the friendly confines of Speas Elementary.

After some discussion of football and hockey (really?) seasons being right around the corner we began.

The respects were in full force today.  The count was 6 of 8 and Burlap noted that he was in the younger 50% age group.

Good to see Ziggy back in town after he cleaned up DC

Good to meet the War Baby by far of the day – Zombie

Argyle came in a little hot during SSHs and put a little fear in some pax although Boomerang who was closest seemed unfazed

Goofy noted during Lazy Dora “It gets harder as it goes” – YHC chimed in with an old man joke – use your imagination

At the rock pile Burlap observed a cloud that he thought looked like a map of Great Britain – “saying that cloud looks like Britain” YHC thought he heard “Britney” as in Spears.  After looking none of us could agree that it looked much like either one and to have been technically correct it would have needed a second small cloud to represent Northern Ireland.

16 burpees were performed but only 4 at a time which we concluded were 16 more than at the Nantan workout

Bringing out the rope bag for some Saratoga fun is a good way to close

ANNOUNCEMENTS

Month of Shmedfest is upon us – 8/24 with morning convergence of F3, FIA, kids, dogs, etc at the fairgrounds
