It was a balmy January morning for the year’s first Parliament. YHC didn’t sleep well and decided for a Mash Mile prerun and upon return saw the makings of good attendance. Others rolled in and with the help of Workbench’s watch we started on time. YHC mumbled through some sort of intro, mission and core…
YHC is not quite as late with this backblast as ones from my previous two Qs so here goes. It was back to school day and that likely impacted our attendance but 2 pax joined YHC and I was obligated to give them their money’s worth. YHC pulled out another DQ special with the No…
Another late backblast from YHC but better than nothing at all. We gathered on one of the last preschool mornings at Parliament. YHC’s creative juices have been focused in other areas lately so some old favorites were adapted for WeFoCos only core beatdown. YHC cranked up the Spotify Dad Rock and we were off with…
It was a balmy pre going back to school morning and YHC made the trek cross town to the home of the Dash’s initial core workout. This concept was so admired by YHC another was later opened for WeFoCo. Non runners tend to be of the older demographic and the Q was not disappointed. When…
VI Site Q SeaMan has mentioned more than once my Q from last year that celebrated the 77th anniversary of D Day. The calendar had an opening this year on the exact date and it seemed like destiny to take the date and repeat the workout. SeaMan put the pressure on with a preblast and…
Sour Mash announced his birthday after I announced my Q of Distillery on Monday at VI. He gave some mention of possibly showing up even though it was his MWF week (BTW this concept of alternating weeks with different workouts was introduced to SM by YHC). After spending almost no time prepping for the workout, …
A chilly early morning greeted us for what would become a most pleasant day. YHC arrived very early to check out the AO and then get in an EC run. To his surprise when he arrived, Sgt Schultz found my car in the lot. By 0500, 4 had gathered for a run before the nonrunning…
Last week Starfish informed us of the impending 8th birthday of Village Idiocy, the first WeFoCo (before we had named it WeFoCo) flag planting of the pax of F3 Winston-Salem. He posted on Slack the pax attending the first VI and expectations were high that some would show. Alas, it was not to be –…
After a while the Q creativity starts to wane. YHC had rolled this one out a few times before and with a few updates and variations, 5 pax joined me for a Queen playlist and beatdown on a chilly morning at The Distillery. We first gathered some blocks – the walking and arm movement got…
This Q had been on the calendar for some time and Van Gogh confirmed it on Wednesday. YHC kinda mumbled “yeah, I can cover both” when VG floated an offer to find someone to cover SuperMax since he was going to be out of town. There was no turning back. YHC had a plan but…
YHC offered to Q Friday’s BBBC through an old route that had been site for some of the most amazing BRR training several years ago. With a group running near my other neighborhood in a few weeks it was best we could do – the hills of Lewisville. Schneider, Sassy, Harden and 60 Minutes ran…
After going to bed at a reasonable time with the Braves holding a comfortable lead, YHC arose and headed off to an old reliable AO (site of my first F3 post) and found Boomerang already in the parking lot dressed as if the gales of November came early – long pants, sleeves and toboggan. He…
