WeFoCo Saturday Bootcamp, started on January 30, 2021
YHC fell behind the past week or two on two key exercises in the #2021challenge, so I figured what better way to catch up on them than at the workout designed specifically to maximize reps of a small number of exercises? After a short WoR – SSH, IST, Whirlys, Shoulder sequence – we moseyed…
We gathered like a bunch of fresh blood off the bus from the holding cells at the courthouse. This bunch of juveniles did not know what they had in store during our Scare Them Straight Program, where we try to give troubled individuals a taste of what life is like on The Rock. These troubled…
Was not sure what to expect when the temp was below 30 degrees, but 7 brave PAX came out to see what shenanigans I had in store for them. Right around 5:29 is when YHC found out from Van Gogh that the weinke for this AO is supposed to be small. Few movements on repetition…and…

For the second week of Alcatraz bootcamp, it just so happened to align with a surprise release of 2021 Secular Chocolate from Foothills! It’s an honored tradition of YHCs to lead a themed beatdown in the beers honor when it’s released. It worked out perfect this time around, with the beer going up for…
YHC thought it would be cool to work in some factual information to our inaugural beatdowns. In a bit of divine intervention, YHC discovered Alcatraz was closed on 3/21/63, being a math nerd the fact that 3 x 21=63 was too perfect to ignore. Oh the irony of opening a new AO while using the…
Given the ongoing dealings with Covid, the Nantan and Site-Qs thought a true convergence might be in poor taste this year. In a show of creativity, the idea of a “virtual” convergence with a shared beatdown across 3 locations came to mind. This opportunity was used as a spring board to preview a new Clemmons…
Today was just a special meeting time due to the 7 year anniversary. Regularly scheduled workouts at 0600 AND 0700 will begin on 01/30. The Super MAX format is designed to be <4 exercises for maximum reps or distance. It could be a Murph, a plain 5 mile run, a WIB like beatdown, today’s madness,…
