Roaming Jump Rope Core and Cardio. Retired in 2024.
Halfway to the AO this morning I realized I forgot my speaker. I pulled into the parking lot around 0522 with no time to turn around and only a small glimmer of hope that no one would join me and my error would go unnoticed. I would also get to climb back in bed…BUT Starfish…

YHC made a change from being site Q at the Iron Throne to Double Dutch last week – Being a site Q isn’t difficult but being a site Q of 2 AO’s was getting a little tricky. It is no secret that ole Tigger loves some jump rope. In fact, it was because of jumping…
Counting Crows have released new music for the first time in 7 years. With the new album frontman Adam Duritz has been making the media rounds. Last week YHC listened to an interview on the Bill Simmons podcast and Spam shared that he recently listened to an interview on the Joe Rogan podcast. Turns out…
Brisk temperatures across the Triad greeted the Pax this beautiful Thursday morning. On the way in, YHC saw that Sheetz had gas so a quick fill up was necessary. Still time to arrive to Jamison Park and see that no other Pax were there. Soon after, Rustbucket arrived in his Mercedes. Zima arrived by…
The QIC almost pulled a fartsack, but woke up at 0520 and was able to quickly get things together and head over to the AO (and not break too many traffic laws in the process) and get us started basically at 0530. Pax were gathered and getting a little nervous, but the Q already had…
YHC rolled over to look at the time. 5:20am! Oh no! I’m going to be late. Hopped out of bed. Jumped in the car. Sped to Leinbach Park. Fortunately Lace was in the parking lot as I screamed in at 5:31am. Thanks for your patience. The Thang We jumped right in. Music played for various…
YHC reached out to the DD regulars about an upcoming Q and they said it was all mine this week. Little did they know they might come to regret it. Welcome & brief intro WOR – 2 min free jump The thang – Every 2 minutes do 5 merkins, 5 squats, 5 WWIIs, 5 burpees,…
A PAX of 3 barely found enough room at the former grounds of #TheEstate to jump some rope. $5 Footlong and Wobegon did their own thing around the grounds and joined for COT. It was a good thing WIB chose a different site or we might have been crowded and forced to be closer then…
YHC has been pumped about some double dutch. “Tigger doesn’t run but still needs cardio.” Enter the beautiful words, “Double Dutch.” Each of the previous Thursday’s were fantastic and inspired the beatdown today. Closer (MIA today) led a fire Tabata beatdown & Bevo brought it with a benchmark challenege. Combine the two and you have…
For starters, it was 25 degrees!!!! So I had respect for anyone who wakes up and walks out of their house into this weather and chooses to exercise! Well 4 other dudes made that decision and I hoped I would not disappoint. After introductions, we skipped SSHs and went straight to our ropes….
YHC started planning for Q duties earlier this week where all great Q plans should start… the music. Amazon Music had a 90’s playlist that I cherrypicked from to get 10 songs that would span the 45 minutes. Once the music was set the rest of the Double Dutch Q came together easily thanks to…
