Here’s the short version of what happened today at BBBC although the long version would not differ much. 4 pax gathered at Ortho Carolina parking lot – FYI Prospector does not show early on Fridays. Schneider and YHC ran to vicinity of West Forsyth one of us went a little farther. Drano and Fingers did the loop…
@ShortSale reminded YHC of the tradition of Qing the Thanksgiving Thursday workout at the original #Core workout of @F3WinstonSalem. So YHC was all in for the third annual Thanksgiving TRQ because, after all, tradition is tradition and we can’t break such a special streak. 10 showed up for the warmup WIB and gave THANKS for…
Several weeks ago Road Apple reached out to the pax looking for volunteers to lead Dawg Pound. YHC decided that despite never having been out to the AO for Dawg Pound it would be worth a shot. So the HC was made. Despite my greatest efforts, YHC was unable to make it out prior to…
A few months back Sour Mash asked if YHC was willing to take his talents West and Q #TheDistillery. YHC was more than willing since he grew up in WestFoCo. The challenge was that YHC was not to familiar with the AO as I didn’t attend Clemmons Elementary and have only made the trek West…
While the number ebbed and flowed over the course of the beatdown, we’ll say that six pax gathered on a foggy morning at The Outhouse, seemingly in knowledge of the fact that YHC would be Q rather than Sgt. Schultz. Schultz was unexpectedly called away to a court of law (he’s a lawyer outside of…
6 pax jumped out of the fartsack this morning and ventured out to Tanglewood to log some miles and enjoy some fellowship at this weeks meeting of the Big Boy Breakfast Club. This group continues to see major gains in overall fitness levels and running capabilities. Not to mention the camaraderie and accountability that has…
6 PAX braved the elements to post for the latest edition of TRQ. YHC looked at the weather forecast Wednesday night and realized he needed to come up with a dry option. A decision was made to go with the Deck of Death. The PAX gathered under the shelter at the front entrance and proceeded as…
Being born on November 6 is only occasionally associated with anything memorable. Every four years, YHC has the possibility of having a birthday on an election day. Sally Field also shares this day with YHC. And today, YHC discovered that Balco was also born on November 6th. Rare company indeed. As the Pax gathered on…
Apparently there have been a few Fartsack Qs lately so YHC poses this question to the Pax. If a Q fartsacks and no pax are there to witness it did it really happen (or not happen)? Just asking… Fortunately both situations were narrowly avoided this AM at #Dawgpound. YHC happened to check the Q calendar…
A simple route for simple guys… I was pleased to be able to fit all of the turns for our route in under 160 characters (I realize I missed a turn that would have put it over 160 characters–My bad). 30 PAX showed up this morning to pound the pavement around the city from West-End…
A beautiful full moon greated the 3 Pax who ventured out for this week’s installment of the best running AO in town. At the appointed hour, Sourmash was MIA. Oh well, his loss. Route was simple, turn right out of the OrthoCarolina parking lot (corner of Peacehaven and Lewisville-Clemmons Road) and run along Lewisville-Clemmons…
If you think #runningisstupid, (it is!) or just want a nice morning mosey to start your Friday (who doesn’t?), come join us tomorrow at the corner of Peace Haven Rd and Lewisville-Clemmons Rd at the OrthoCarolina parking lot as we revisit the most unimaginative, insipid, monotonous, stodgy, mundane and vapid route YHC has ever created!…
