Q: Sassy Date: 02/16/2018 PAX: All are welcome and encouraged to join us! Join YHC as we will meet up in the back of the Wake Forest Baptist parking lot on the corner of Lewisville-Clemmons Road and Peace Haven Road. Two routes are created for 1.18 and 2.39 miles. YHC would like to keep the…
When YHC instructed the PAX to circle up for WOR, several shouted back, ‘There’s no WarmORama…this is FLATLINE!” Ohhh…K. YHC made a quick adjustment and sprinted off to the parking deck. Luckily for the PAX, tossing WOR aside allowed for an extra round up and down the stair well, and….the Bataan Death March. Fast Mosey…
It had been way too long since YHC posted at #Redline. But when a nice guy like Manscape asks you to step up, it’s impossible to say no. Unlike yesterday, we had some normal February weather (42 degrees with some pretty nasty wind gusts down the front straightaway). Many of the PAX were using this…
18 PAX hit it hard this am at #TheEstate on a warm, wet Monday. Exercises transpired approximately as follows: W-o-R – SSH, IST, Abe Vigoda, CH Squats, Arm Circle Thingies, Mtn Climbers. Mosey to the courtyard / patio and partner up. Partner #1 runs to the bottom of the hill and back. Partner…
Date: 02/12/2018 PAX: Hedwig (WB), Sleeper, Van Gogh, Zima, TPS, Toe Tag (WD) The Flu has been weighing heavily on YHC’s mind ever since Thursday when my 6 year old 2.1 tested positive for Type A influenza. My M came down with it on Saturday, and my 14 month old 2.3 tested positive for it…
It was a dark and stormy morning…well not too stormy but the rain which YHC had hoped would hold off was a steady drizzle. However, it did not deter 5 other pax from showing up at the appointed time and location – several regulars and one FNG that YHC was accused of kidnapping to bring…
Pax: Sourmash, Schneider, DQ, Sassy, Harden, Ramses, Spamalot, Road Apple (EC) After the debacle of last week (thanks Geppetto) and playing frogger on Lewisville Clemmons Road, time to get back to our roots. Fresh off the exciting news that #OH4TB had been officially accepted for the 2018 Bourbon Chase, several of us thought…
As a night of typical challenged sleep prior to a Q ended after a hard fought, entertaining and disappointing Super Bowl, YHC silently cursed Redeye for “tricking” me into Qing the day after. By “trick”, he basically asked in a very polite, sincere way and YHC responded Aye. What a jerk! So, waiting in parking…
Q: ? – He didn’t join us, supposed alarm failure Date: 2/2/18 Pax: Harden, Sour Mash, Drama Queen, Schneider, Spam-a-lot, Ramses, Beast Lite Despite the lack of appropriate recordation, BBBC did occur last week. Thursday afternoon the call was made for a pax to step up and create a route for the BBBC crew to…
17 pax fought the urge to f-sack and instead chose, with intention, to face-off with the 1/2 pound of smothered & covered nachos consumed during the prior evening’s football bliss. Cherry Pie had to check & double check his watch as the pax continued to roll in as the hour struck 0530. Clearly, 1/2 lb…
The Pit of Misery Fifteen PAX, looking to improve their speed and break 5K PR’s, posted to begin Week 3 of an 8-week training program. (Note there are several more that are doing the program that weren’t in attendance today). Anyway, today’s plan called for interval repeats. Instead of the same old boring track, we…
Date 02/03/2018 PAX Quiver, Fingers (WD), Van Gogh (WB) @RoadApple asked YHC to Q shortly after hearing I was no longer site Q at #ImpossibleSituation, I was both honoured and Happy to oblige. YHC got some inspiration from a round of drinking games, where the players have to perform a Waterfall, where everyone chugs there…
