When Frank&Beans contacted YHC on Sunday (what a great Site Q!) about Qing today, immediately I knew the intimidator was going to be the focus. Maybe it’s because I’m still reeling from the Toughest Mile on Track from Rubber Ducky’s IS beatdown at the start of the month… or maybe it’s because it’s because it’s…
YHC had to sub in for Posthole today, who Chickflick had assigned to today’s date. Unfortunately, schedule conflicts arose, and the few alternates YHC reached out to couldn’t commit. Then YHC realized the date would be 02/25, and it kind of felt like the perfect opportunity for a 20×25 beatdown. And YHC started putting a…
Lesson of the day: Long car rides make for lots of time spent developing bad ideas. YHC loves cinder blocks, and bear crawls… and then the kids have been watching lots of “Beast Games” so the term “Beast” was stuck in my head…Beast implying a TOUGH (all caps) beatdown. And then the thought of…
Workbench asked YHC to Q a few weeks back, looking to trade for a Flatline Q. If it wasn’t for the Q duties this morning, the 33 degree rain definitely would have made the fartsack extremely tempting. YHC may have been hoping that no one would post so a few more hours of sleep could…
While still recovering from The Mountain that Root Canal made the PAX climb at The Iron Throne later on Monday, YHC decided that he also wanted to see high rep counts in support of the monthly challenge. An idea was concocted to use a 1:12 ratio, with two exercises in the one slot, and one…
Back when High Life started, it brought back memories of Outkasts, the Bolton Park AO where YHC really bonded with a few PAX (who sadly no longer post) early on in YHC’s F3 tenure. The late night smaller group offers up a different type of 2ndF. So it was good to finally get out to…
Due to travel in November and the December Holidays, the 22 challenge will end with a doubledown opportunity between Parliament and High Life! It being Tyson month, YHC can’t think of a more appropriate challenge to end with. Brutal and tough! Warm-o-rama Mission Statement / Core Principles! SSH x 22 IC AST / TSA…
The 8th iteration of our 22-challenge series brought YHC to The Rock Quarry for the first time. Obviously, we had to use our rocks, and the original plan had us never leaving them. Upon realizing that would take over an hour, things were… streamlined! In the preblast, YHC announced that 45 PAX had taken the…
Workbench is the ideal Site Q (though he is likely ready to hand off if anyone wants to step up). He is ever present at beatdowns, doesn’t complain about finding Qs, and most importantly… reminds the Qs when they are up next. It was this reminder that gave YHC the time needed to concoct this…
Everyone should know by now that YHC loves tradition, and “The Craftsman” slowly became a WIB tradition for YHC to Q (not for PAX, but some have been known to avoid it) at the old Sears parking lot at Hanes Mall. Overtime, the parking lot has slowly gone down hill; with parked tractor trailers,…
YHC was halfway through his craziest week at work in the last 5 years when a text message from Madoff was received (and ignored til about 8pm) about hoping something killer was in store for my Q on Thursday. Maybe it was the frustration of the long week, or desire to turn mental anguish from…
