YHC had been trying to decipher Adobe’s erudite and enigmatic preblast from a couple of weeks ago that had somehow led us to the second Distillery site nearby. There were a lot of numbers and equations which had YHC pull out his old college textbook before just letting grok do the explaining. Turns out we…
Warmarama (just to spite Zima): Abe Vigodas, Whirlies, Up/Down Dawgs, Cherry Pies The Thang: Three Stations: Food Lion Every time pax enter the FL parking lot, perform burpees x 5, boot-slap jump squats x 10, and SSHs x 15. No ladder up and down. Everytime, the same thing. Ardmore Christian Church (western hill) Exercises…
Ol’ SchlitzyPoo and YHC got in a 3 mile EC run and, being the only pax present, were about to Omaha and go for a backwards ruck up the hills around Hanes Park when Poppa Spice rolled into the lot at 0532, “saving” the day. Warmarama (just to spite Zima): Mosey to the track for…
Today would have been my dad’s 88th birthday. When @Adobe asked me several weeks ago to Q today, I jumped at the chance to honor my hero dad on his birthday. At the time I didn’t know that @Superfly was also going to plan his dad’s 92nd birthday celebration at Parliament two weeks ago. Fortunately,…
It was a nice cool morning at the Jerry Long YMCA. I was not sure who was going to show up since I had seen no HC’s last night. Either way, I was armed with my ChatGPT workout. This was my first time using it for this purpose and I realized that ChatGPT does not…
Warmarama (just to spite Zima): SSHs, Abe Vigodas, Whirlies, Up/Down Dawgs, Cherry Pies The Thang: Mosey to the bus lot and & grab a coupon from the faux locked cable; carry said coupon “to the playground”. Read the weinke to the gathered pax utilizing the light from YHC’s boombox speaker. Weinke says: Round Exercise Reps…
This was cool morning on the 16th of October I the year of our Lord 2025. I have been coming off an absurd travel schedule, and I am finally glad to have some time in the city in which I live. Also, I am glad to get the creative juices flowing back on the Q…
YHC was scheduled to travel to San Antonio, TX this past week. Not being one to travel frequently to a locale with a shovel flag at my destination, the prospect of a DR post was enticing. This however, was a formidable feat given YHC’s lack of relations with technology. Much to my consternation, I find…
Today’s workout was a reprisal of a past BnW that was more than sufficient. Somehow, today’s felt worse. Past bb here: https://new.f3winstonsalem.com/2024/05/increasing-distances-at-bnw/ This year’s iteration only had 5 cones spaced ~25yds apart on the road, and 5 exercises on the weinke. Do the first exercise, run to the first cones. Do the first two exercises,…
YHC had the keys this #AM at #Mayhem. Not MayHAM, Not MayHim, nor any other play on words. Really like what @Rollback is doing – making workouts fun again and just a little effort to build camaraderie! T-Claps, sir! Knowing @Rollback was going to be there, and potentially @Zima, I knew I had to bring…
Man these are perfect mornings here lately. Just a hair chilly but keeps the body feeling great. I decided I didn’t wanna do a regular EC run as I had knocked out the Ardmore rah 10k on Monday, so today was a ruck it or f*** it kind of deal. Both Palin and I had…
When Turnover put out the bat signal for a substi-Q sometime last week I was in a good mood and wasn’t looking at my calendar, so I happily helped out my good friend who has been generous to me in a pinch before. I should have inherently known the Falcons were playing on MNF the…
