What a fantastic morning! Woke up at 4:30 with zero screaming kids and the excitement of not running 6 miles. Today felt amazing. I fell out of shape again once my son was born and I’ve been flinging around these B cups for roughly six months now. Time to get back to work. I forgot…
I read what the Iron Pax workout was while on the road this week, still knowing I was ditch leader on the Western Front. Do I sacrifice what I wanted to do, modify it, or keep the original plan? Screw it, we’ll continue Head Hunter’s military theme as we become Navy men. I pull into…
**8 HIMs reported for duty:** YHC arrived at the Western Front ready for battle with an **intentionally angry playlist** — Metallica and enough metal to make everyone want to invade something. And as faithfully as the sun rises, **Zima had thoughts.** *”What is this? Not sure I get the connection with how this is motivating?”*…
YHC just about slept through my alarm this morning. I knew I needed to set up IPC week 2 in the large field at Western Front. So I threw on my gear, got my utility lights, cones, tunes and power pack in case the speaker was not charged. I arrived at Western Front, and parking…
With IPC coming in hot (as in next week), YHC took the opportunity to bring back the hardest / best IPC workout, in YHC’s opinion: Meatloaf’s Massacre. See previous runs of the workout here: https://f3winstonsalem.com/wp-admin/post.php?post=10208&action=edit https://f3winstonsalem.com/2019/09/iron-pax-saturday-meatloafs-madness/ https://f3winstonsalem.com/wp-admin/post.php?post=12849&action=edit Warmarama: The Thang: Real simple. Meatloaf’s Massacre (enhanced): Blockees (Manmakers) x 10 WW2s w/block x 20 Block swings…
The main goal of Socialism is to share wealth fairly and make good for use rather than for profit. In a way, F3 works like that – the batflippers get penalized for finishing 1st by having to pick up the 6 or in the case of today’s beatdown, spend more time doing burpees. YHC had…
Today’s workout was all about IPC2026 prep and was taken from Week 3 of last year’s IPC. Week 3 was the Chris Kyle WOD and I modified some pieces but overall it was a good beatdown. I let the PAX know that I don’t want to see it all about speed but I want to…

It was a long drive out to Lewisville from the Launchpad, so I had to make it worth it this past Friday. 23 minutes on Apple Maps was only a 18 min gloom zoom, but a hike nonetheless. YHC put out the preblast along with a call for an EC run, and Schlitz & Frosty…
AMERKIN 250 🇺🇸 America doesn’t turn 250 every day, so there was only one appropriate response… 250 Merkins. The mission was simple: five Revolutionary War stations, each beginning with 50 merkins before earning the right to continue. Lexington. Concord. Valley Forge. Yorktown. Liberty. Coupons were carried, rifle carried, murder bunnied, farmer carried, and eventually abandoned…
YHC had the honor of leading the absolute beasts that are the regulars of #WesternFront today. If I’m being honest, I was a little worried about putting something together that would adequately challenge the studs that usually show up out there. Reading through the backblasts chronicling the atrocities that have happened at this AO was…
